When a piece of music was licensed for the opening scene of this award-winning animated film (from the executive producer of Rick & Morty🧪), I had the chance to achieve a secret goal of mine: hearing my music in a score while watching on the big screen. Doing so at a gorgeous historic theater for the premiere, surrounded by family on all sides who clasped my shoulders and began shaking me with excitement when the music began, and then being called up for a Q&A after was all icing on the cake. This was not a dream I ever expected to turn into reality.
